Fresh From Italy: New Stamperia Cosmos, Furry Friends 2 and Mixed Media Must-Haves
Hi friends,
A box from Stamperia just landed at the shop, and I couldn't wait to show you what's inside. Stamperia is an Italian brand known for gorgeous, detailed designs, and their papers, stencils and mediums are made for mixed media, art journaling, junk journals and card making. This shipment brings two dreamy collections, Cosmos and Furry Friends 2, plus a handful of mediums I reach for all the time.
Cosmos: written in the stars
Cosmos is all about moons, planets, constellations and celestial backgrounds. The junk journal set has 16 A4 pages of coordinating papers: cardstock pages, cut-out pages and adhesive sticker pages. The A5 Focus Points set gives you 16 smaller pages of printed papers for journaling and cards. Pair them with the new stencils for layered, starry backgrounds.
Cosmos Junk Journal & Cardmaking Set ($23.19)
Cosmos Swirling Nebula Stencil ($7.69)
Cosmos Handwriting Stencil ($7.69)
Cosmos Ink Orbits Stencil ($5.39)
Cosmos Ink Spots Stencil ($5.39)
Furry Friends 2: pets with a street-art twist
If you love projects about your pets, Furry Friends 2 is for you. This collection pairs playful pets with urban textures like brick, newsprint, graffiti and paint splatters. There are double-sided background pads in two sizes, a pack of 8 A6 rice papers that are perfect for journal and card backgrounds, an Ink Splatters stencil, and both junk journal sets.
Mediums to bring it all together
Good mediums make every project easier. Prep porous surfaces with Gesso Paste, then try the one-step white Crackle Paste for an aged, crackled finish you can color with acrylics or inks. The Rice Paper Glue is thick and matte, made for smoothing rice paper down with a soft brush, and it comes in two sizes. The water-based Mix Media Glue works on all kinds of materials. Finish with the Contour Liner in Old Gold to add raised outlines, dots and little accents.
Gesso Paste ml 150 ($9.09)
Crackle Paste ml 150 White ($11.41)
Rice Paper Glue ml 150 ($11.69)
Rice Paper Glue ml 50 ($6.69)
Mix Media Glue ml 150 ($9.88)
