Hi friends,

The new Home & Garden collection from Arden Creative Studio just arrived, and it is so pretty. Designed by Katie Pertiet, it is full of soft sage, terracotta and cream, potted plants, old doors, garden windows and cozy little house details.

There are papers, rub-ons, laser cuts and tape, plus Maker Series stamps, dies and stencils to match. Here is everything, with a few ideas to get you started.

What's in the collection

Arden Creative Studio Home & Garden 12x12 Paper Pad

The 12x12 Paper Pad has 12 double-sided designs, two sheets of each, and it includes kiss-cut designs too. If you like smaller projects, the 6x8 Paper Pad is perfect for cards and journal pages.

Garden cards

Start with a sage or cream patterned paper as your card base. Add a strip of Floor Notes PET Tape along the bottom, then tuck a few pieces from the Foliage Laser Cuts behind a sentiment from the 6x8 Rub-On Transfer Set. A few pieces from the Essentials Laser Cuts make sweet finishing touches.

Home and family layouts

This collection is made for everyday stories like a new front door or a first garden. Pick two or three papers from the 12x12 pad, layer them behind your photo and add rub-on words around the edges. The Home Lines and Gardener Clusters stamp sets are great for stamping little details right onto the page.

Cut a window frame with the Garden Windows Die Set, back it with clear acetate and build a shaker pocket behind it. Fill it with your favorite color from the Shimmer Shaker 5-pack: Rainy Windowpane, Terracotta Tea Cup, Heirloom Linen, Windowsill Herb or Potting Shed Brown. Add a few foliage laser cuts peeking out from the sides of the window.

Stencil layering

For a garden wall background, ink through the Stone Gate 6x8 Stencil first in a soft cream or gray. Once it is dry, layer the Home Grown 6x8 Stencil on top in sage or terracotta. Finish with the Wandering Vines stamps or the Lace Remnant background stamp for extra texture.
